it was like the busiest day of the holidays! i crazily decided to go work at tubby's daddy's clinic in marine parade. i live in choa chu kang. and the shift is from 8.30 to 12.30. so, i had to wake up at 6.40 am! crazy crazy stuff. so met jon at eunos and reached the clinic and did the mundane stuff. jon bluffed me. he told me there were nice things to see so i decided to go. but no. the only interesting thing i did was to poke this old man who was very nice abt it, by the way, to check his blood sugar level. yea and maybe punching the cash register was fun, for the first 2 times!

hahah so after crazy working, i had to RUSH home to meet wanqi sinyee at je mrt to go town! so crazy crazy rush! ate super fast, showered at normal pace. hahah there's no way u can rush showering. and dumped clothes on. and slapped some stuff on. and left the house! so happy that the bus was on my side! then came the 11 min long wait for the train to je. it is a long wait considering the journey from cck to je is like wad 8 min?

and we left for town first since sy is ever the locked at home person. hahah so we talked soooo much! so much to say! hahahthen we walked ard and actually wanted to go to paragon but it was raining and wanqi dearie's big abercrombie pink bag has no brolly. so stuck at taka. went to get a drink and hunt for a money-changer! hahah and then when to read silly mags with the same linday lohan, paris hilton, nicole richie, olsen twins, etc etc. and finally sy came.

and LIU TING was M.I.A! hope she's still ard in spore! silly girl. anw we were going down the escalator and we realised wanqi's heels had broken! well done. so we had to get superglue.

and we went to mos burger. and and and while being nice helping the distraught wq poke the glue, i got glue onto my fingers! and no. it is not a little glue. it is a lot! i was crazzzzyyy! i rushed to the basin at mos and started peeling away! it was a lot of glue. trust me. i was easily elena superhands (like johnny depp's edward scissorhands! hahah) shld have taken a photo. but too distraught. and i got sy to get me nail polish remover since it has acetone to remove the glue. wow. sth i learnt from sch in 1st 3 mths! the glider making thingy. hahah.
the mos auntie so unsympathetic. she kept staring. so unkind.

after i had clean hands. and was superhands no more.

so finally after 30 min. i got them off and we went off to watch the family stone with rachel mcadams and sarah jessica parker, where i poured a lot of popcorn onto her. hahah. so anw we walked ard and took neoprints! hahah so pinko. and i decorated until sooo nice larh. and we walk to somerset mrt, asking ppl to help us take photos along the way.

thurs!

hello! these days have been sooo busy! in a great way of course! =)

on thurs, we had the annual japanese immersion bbq and it was as usual, only the girls and 1! guy! and he is going j1 next year! hahah imagine his discomfort. oh but we played bridge. it was fun! hahah and we as usual did not help to bbq, well i volunteered. but his cousin said no need. not my fault.! hahah anw clarissa came on time ! gasp! so she filled the place with her high pitched shrill nasal laughter which was soooooooo infectious i tell u! so we talked lotsa crap and played i never which then turned into a silly jokes-telling session!

Xixun and i went to the nearby playgrd and played the swing! woo! i LOVE swings! they're like the greatest playgrd inventions ever. and usually, somebody will push me from behind as i dunno how to push to go higher! hahah so silly. so, i learnt the art of pushing yourself higher on the swing from xixun! yay!

Narnia. Baking. Dinner.Wednesday, December 28, 2005

hello!

today i went to watch narnia with mich, sam, jon, tubby, joel! anw i was late! sorry ppl! =) and we watched the 12.00 pm show. it was quite an ok-only show.

the susan only shot 2 arrows! wow so much for being the cool archer. one for practice shot, one to kill the witch's slave.
the edmund was sooooooooo irritating. i was waiting for him to be eaten up.!
the fighting scenes were so-so. oh peter "killed" the wolf by holding his blade out like an amateur and the silly wolf jumped INTO the blade. and the wolf was supposed to be smart since it could talk! oh man. more excitement please!
lucy wasn't cute.

ok here are the good parts:

the lion, Aslan, was really cute and fluffy! =)
the beavers were soooo cute! i wanted to hug them!
mr thummus was quite cute too.
did i mention the peter (grown up) is kinda handsome? yea. the only eye-candy. he's played by this unknown called noah sthsthland.
the snow was quite nice... though looking at it made me colder only!

yea so much for my review. and we went shopping for chicken, potatoes, carrots and my cookie mix. then went to jon's house and i started to bake! everyone=>tubby joel mich jon stared at me like it was a huiwen-can-cook show! and the first batch was a little too buttery but it turned out fine! =) so the 2nd batch was ok too! so my very first baking all by myself! =) so tiring! but i had good assistants like joel my greasing the foil person and jon my everything-to-do-with-the-oven-which-is-so-hot person. hahah

so it was cool and mich's curry cooking was fun too! i helped to pour the stuff in! and i cooked the onion omelette too! i did 1 and mich did 1. i had the pot cover to act as my shield in case it splatters! hahah so today i was domestic goddess! =)=) really. even though they pretended my cookies were bad, jon, marcus, tubby, emerson brought some home. and i did NOT ask them to do so! hahah they ASKED for it! =) yay! fun day as Hui Wen the cook!

tmr is the annual japanese immersion alumni party at weihan's house! cool! =) hope it'll be fun! it shld be larh. i'm going. =) anw goodnight folks!

hello! today i had a date with my sec 2 buddy pei qian! =) but i was late! but for a valid reason! i had to pick up her present! =) anw she got me a nice minnie mouse toy from hong kong disneyland! =)

then i dragged peiqian to taka men's wear dept to meet michelle to get my present! hahah mich is so sweet! thanks darling! =) jon and joel and her sis were there too!

we had fun walking to heeren to buy this roxy pouch (which comes with a mirror!) for her sis and then looking at heels! and doing silly things like buying a shirt for her fren in like 3 min? hahah and pointing at the salesperson's necklace coz tt peiqian wanna buy it! and we got free cotton candy from the standard chartered roadshow! and we were like walking and we suddenly realised we looked like we're one of the roadshow ppl! coz we were walking between them and eating the cotton candy! oh man! they got free advertising from us! =)

and i bought earrings! hoops! things that peiqian has no guts to wear! hahah and we shared pizza at pastamania and then took photos! and we went to guess at scotts! nice stuff there! =)

hello! yest was my long-awaited outing with my primary sch besties! =) yay it was soooo fun! =) alrighty we talked so much rubbish and we found out shurong has a ......penknife which she carries with her ALL the time! oh man. dangerous. watch out. if she can't get onto 190, she will whip it out. =)

anw we had a great time looking for weifang's top to go with her skirt and weifang's accessories to go with her outfit! everything is weifang weifang weifang! hahah she is very honoured rite! and i persuaded her to go eat taka pasta with us! yay! it was a good choice! =) muddyyy! =) of course i got myself a really nice necklace! =)=)=)=) hahah

and gwenlyn went onto the wrong bus! i almost too! BUT! i did not step onto the bus~! hahah unlike gwen! hahah

and we spent sooo long like sillies taking photos along orchard road! hahah but it was fun! hahah

hello! i've finally revived my pictures on the blog! hahah now u see the photos instead of the 3 X! yay! i realised that as computer savvy as i am, i forgot that i shifted the photos to another album and that's why it cant display the photos! hahah clever me has solved the problem! =)=)

on a ompletely different note, i'm nursing a runny nose now and can't go out and buy gifts! oh no! means i gotta rush tmr and on thurs!

oh man i just , only just, realised that when bong typed "you are tagged!" in my tagboard eons ago, it meant that i had to

hahah to think i thought bong was trying to be funny! =)

alrighty since i'm waiting for the pictures for my poster to load, might as well do this! hahah here it goes:

1) i used to go crazy over raul gonzalez and luis figo coz yuna was crazy over torres. so i kept her company! and i used to go crazy over orlando bloom that i snapped up ALL the magazines/articles with him! that was when i thought he looked as good as legolas! hahah now i know i can look at shuyi's collection. =)
2) i used to have a love bird which flew! into my house! but we gave it away to the jurong bird park!
3) i'm totally bad at computer games! my childhood fav was master brick! the ones which u changed the shape of the bricks and made a line! =) so fun!
4) i have since improved and i'm GOOD at daytona! just ask mich and sam! we played that time after watching red eye! =) i beat tubby at guangmian's u pick one character i pick one character and we fight and make lots of noise and anyhow press the buttons game which is a recurring feature at our class parties! =)
5) i squeal and make comments like "beat him! kick him! why so stupid!" during movies! but i do it quietly ok. maybe sometimes a bit loud. BUT, don't we all? =)=)=)=)

ok done! but those ppl whom i wanna tag have alrdy played this game! i'm like the slowest person to play this! nvm. hahah =)

hello! shall ans 2 tags here! to wee: hey i'm taking that advice very seriously! =) anw those machines are found in........wheelock place's action city! i think junction 8 might have too! anw i got the zebra one! if u go get, tell me which one u got! =)
to jiale: i know u got the hint! hahah i REALLY REALLY want a jacket! =)=)=)=)

alrighty! today marks the day where i did my attachment ALONE!!!! my partner is sick(or he could be playing dota at home?!?!) and i had to do EVERYTHING by myself!!!! i had nobody to talk to! and i was itching to turn on the radio but there were others who looked like they preferred to work in silence! hmm so i busied myself with stuff my mentor asked me to do and later when it was lunchtime, i had to eat by myself! gasp! in the pantry where i read papers and indeed looked like a busy researcher who has only time for a sandwich! and when i went back to the lab, there was nobody there! all gone for lunch! so the bona fide researchers have time for lunch while I the attachment student had only time for sandwich and newspapers! hahah and i took this golden opportunity to turn on the radio! and switched it to the station i wanted to hear! at this moment! i was caught in the act by this researcher who used to be from rj as well! and he gave me this what-are-you-trying-to-do look! opps! but he was nice and didnt say anything. besides, he had his own ipod. hahah

so i could work with some music and i think i'm now the queen of gel eletrophoresis! you have no idea how many i prepared today! and i think i deserve the most hardworking and produces good results attachment student prize! =)=)=)=) and the silly computer there had to hang and i sat in the dna sequencing room for dunno how long, looking like some un-IT savvy folk! humph! *grumble grumble*

to my horror! i just realised my poster is due this week! ahhh!

my saturday!Saturday, December 10, 2005

today i had trng with david! finally fenced after soo long in the lab! hahah oh and i'm trng tmr too! it was alright, learnt some new things and picked up some muscle aches! hahah but according to some gymnast=> i think it was wee! "if u have muscle aches, u MUST work out somemore to remove them!" i think those SHLD be wise words!

anw after trng, i rushed back home for a shower before meeting nola in town. oh and i was late! sorry nola! apologies! =) we went to eat at nydc coz uknowwho wasnt around at big o. lazy pig larh. wasted our time! hahah anw the apple crumble at nydc was nice! =) and we bought a pooh in animal clothes keychain each! from those funky old-school turning machines! hahah it was fun just to turn! =)

i collected my jeans from zara and shopped ard. and guess wad i saw? the most gorgeous, albeit copy-CK, jacket! it is purple, and it's furry! and the material inside is great! and the cut is nice! and the sleeve is those a lil puffy one. it is beautiful. but! it costs $256. so i didn't get it! i only had $8 with me! but then i saw another nice jacket, though not as nice as the zara one, at forever 21. it costs 61 bucks. hey! i suddenly remembered jiale charl huilian bong dunno wad to get for me! soo, they can contribute to my jacket fund! =)=) hope they're reading this SUBTLE hint! =)=)

anw i realised that borders is a wonderful place to while ur time away! i read intellectual and informative stuff like eating right for ur blood type and silly reads like paris hilton's confessions of an heiress, which i must say i enjoyed! paris hilton is sooooo skinny but she still looks like a barbie doll! hahah =) i like bimbo reads! and some others like teaching u wad kind of heels to get! it was fun stuff! so being in a bookstore all by urself isn't that bad afterall! =)

alrighty i better go sleep so that i'll have energy for tmr's slacking at home/trng/shopping? =)

Siao Er's birthday!Wednesday, December 07, 2005

happy birthday siao er! =) hope u enjoyed dinner and dessert with nola and i! and hope u liked my sms! =)

anw today nola and i went to celebrate siao er's birthday at wheelock place where we ate and got stuffed full with fish n co! oooh the mussels were really nice! actually shld be the sauce! hahah =) the lemony garlic sauce is great! nola actually ordered it so that we can eat the sauce and we actually dun like mussels at all! it was quite silly, but it was yummy!

and after that nola n i wanted to give SE a surprise cake! we wanted to go nydc but it was full! and the queue was really long! so we went to big o. and the cake called aphrodisiac was pretty nice! and the waiter was really nice. the ONE waiter who helped us take photo and kept prancing in front of us as we tried to get a photo of us by ourselves!

hello! yest i went to watch chestnuts by jonathan lim n hossan leong! it was hilarious! though some parts were too slapstick! still, i had a good laugh! =)

oh and the funniest part shld be nicole! her mum bought the wrong tix! we were supposed to watch on 11th! but her mum bought the 4th tix! hahah so nola had to call me like crazy! i got abt 6 missed calls from her! hahah and finally we went for dinner at seah street deli in raffles hotel! thanks auntie for that nice dinner! =) siao er and i shared this sexy funky delicious sounding sandwich called monte cristo! =) it was nice! oh and david n ben were late! hahah and we just left tix with the counter. guess who i saw? i saw kong n family! but i didnt see them again so i didn't say hi! hahah and kong has bad eyesight! he nv look ard!

anw it was fun and yea u all shld go watch too if u want a good laugh, and u can stomach some slapstick humour! =)

Shopping!Saturday, December 03, 2005

hello everyone! had a fun day?? i had! =)

hahah so i went shopping today at orchard! although there were swarms of ppl there, my mummy, my sister and i managed to dodge the crowds by going to the delightfully great zara at liat towers where there were many clothes and little ppl! yay! oh and we saw so many poor guys sitting on the steps waiting for their partners to shop! hahah they looked sooo sad! that's why we didn't shop on sunday, if not, my daddy would join them! hahah maybe not, since he likes to stand around pointing out clothes to me! =)

so i bought quite many tops, and a skirt and jeans! yay! =) time really amazingly flies when u try on clothes and actually have the money to buy them=> coz of the presence of mummy! =) and i FINALLY bought a winnie the pooh cup, which was sth i had been hunting for the longest time! =) yay! it was pretty funny the way my sis n i picked the cups, like lil kids! hahah=) so my sis n i have got really nice and cute pooh cups now! yay!

anw next week will be a fun (i hope!) week with class dinner, siaoer-nola dinner date and og date! =) better start saving and eating less to save space for these dinners! alritey i gtg to watch america's sweethearts! i just LOVE catherine zeta-jones! she's gorgeous! she's not overly skinny and just looks great! she's the reason why i must go watch the show! oh no, i hope this doesn't make me sound lesbiany! =)
